Finally i m done with my exams ....
which lasted for more than a month, perhaps the longest exam ever conducted in the history of MANIT.
At first the exams were supposed to take place between November the 4th to 12th but due to some political reasons they got scheduled for 12th to 25th. But to our disgrace and perhaps to the glory of an NIT as well,on November the 15th we lost one of our friends,which etched an infamous case of suicide by a student in college history. The reasons, not yet clear about what actually happened on that day. unfortunately the aftermath was very serious leading towards an uprising by the students. However, the management discontinued the examinations and vacated the hostels as preventive measures.
But finally when the things settled down the exams took place from 11th of December to December the 19th and finally we were free from the shackles on 22nd December when our last viva was conducted.
it's hard to imagine such a long examination
and the worse thing being whatever occurred in between but sorrowfully this is the truth and we have to live by it... perhaps until we are dependent on THEM
